The Turbo Air TCBE-48SDR-N is a Super Deluxe 48 refrigerated chef base built to maximize line efficiency by combining refrigerated ingredient storage with a heavy-duty countertop platform for cooking equipment. Its one-piece reinforced 16-gauge stainless steel insulated top supports up to 788 lbs, minimizes heat transfer into the cabinet, and provides a durable work surface for griddles, charbroilers, and other heavy equipment. Two stainless steel drawers each accommodate (2) full-size and (3) 1/6 size pans up to 6 deep, delivering 7.52 cu. ft. of refrigerated storage held between 33°F and 38°F. Turbo Air’s signature self-cleaning condenser automatically brushes the coils daily, reducing manual maintenance and protecting the compressor from dust-related strain. The side-mounted 1/4 HP compressor uses eco-friendly R290 refrigerant and a front-breathing design, making it well-suited for tight kitchen installations.
